Our recommendation - alert all of your clients not to upgrade to 2016 for the time being. While the file appears to be fine when in use, there is a very real possibility that it is damaged.Īccording to our rep a the Intuit data recovery centre (they were not able to fix our file), this issue has been "elevated to the "highest levels - the developers who create the software" Intuit believe there is an issue with the conversion process 2015 to 2016 (Canadian version). Verification reports a huge number of errors that are not fix-able by rebuilding (prior to conversion, 2015 file reported no errors). This has affected one of the company files we work with but not other companies. We have been experiencing significant issues with QuickBooks 2016 after converting from 2015 to 2016. Quickbooks 2016 Canada - do NOT upgrade from 2015.
